Here we are again! After losing Silas and then another baby at 10 weeks, I pretty much gave up on having any more babies. Unexpectedly, the night before we left for a ski trip back in February, I discovered I was pregnant. We were absolutely shocked!

But here I am, just finishing up week 11, and the first trimester is in full force! I have been throwing up and in bed every chance I get for the last month, and the kids are starting to get concerned about Mama's "tummy bug" I think. We are anxious to tell them...they will be so very excited!

I go in next week (week 12) for blood tests and for the level 2 sonogram. It was during these tests last time that we found out something was wrong with Silas. I am anxious to get them done. We should also find out the gender. My gut is telling me its a girl....we shall see!

Here is the first sonogram in between 7-8 weeks. Everything looked good and the heartbeat was strong at 170.
